Benny G has a storied history of music and athletics.

As a musician he has performed in venues around the world, including a historic performance at the Benton Harbor Jazz fest with Shirley King, daughter of the blues and has been featured on hundreds of releases. He is a dynamic artist that stretches genres from hip-hop, to rock, from reggae to electronic, and everything in between creating a blend of music that defies categorization.

As an athlete he has journeyed from pole vaulting 14 feet in New York to the North Ave Beach roller hockey league in Chicago.  He found his home on his yoga mat through his own personal practice started at CorePower Yoga.  He is currently a 200 hour certified Yoga Sculpt instructor at CorePower's original Chicago location in the South Loop.

Benny G brings his passion for sound and movement to the classroom for yoga and group fitness classes here in the Chicago area.  He served as the resident DJ of the Zen Yoga Garage and has guest appeared with many of Chicago's top yoga and fitness instructors.  He specializes in creating live music with his acoustic guitar, djembe and rain stick as well as live beats with his mobile audio turntables and drum machines.
